1. Duty Free Limits for embassy/consulate clients

Missions, posts and eligible individuals can import or purchase goods free of customs duty for:

  • official use — for the reasonable requirements of the mission or post, or
  • personal use — for the reasonable personal requirements of the individual or a dependent family member of the individual’s household in Australia.

Limits on alcohol and tobacco products purchased under the Indirect Tax Concession Scheme (ITCS) or duty free are:

  • missions and posts for official use: 260 litres of spirits, liqueurs or spirituous liquors, 1,000 litres of beer, 20,000 cigarettes, and 40 beauty or fragrance items every 6 months
  • eligible individuals for personal use: half the above mission/post entitlements – 130 litres of spirits, liqueurs or spirituous liquors, 500 litres of beer and 10,000 cigarettes, and 40 beauty or fragrance items every 6 months

What documents do I need to use Lotte Duty Free Diplomatic Program?

You will need to fill out an Australian Border Force form  B615 — Application for Release of Goods from Customs Control to Diplomatic and Consular Personnel

How long will it take for my order to be ready for payment and collection?

Order fulfillment normally takes up to 10 – 14 days subject to stock availability.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

Payment can be made using the following credit cards: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Diners and Union Pay, and we also accept direct deposit.

Is tax included in my order total?

No, all our sales for international flights are tax and/or duty free.

Pick Up

You are more than welcome to visit our Sydney Downtown Store at 55 Market Street Sydney 2000 for collection.

Delivery

If you are located outside Sydney, we will organise FREE express delivery and your order will be delivered to your embassy/consulate or home address.

Returns

Lotte Duty Free will refund products that are damaged or faulty or where incorrect products are supplied within a reasonable time. All goods returned whether they are faulty or not must have proof of purchase. Subject to conditions we will either arrange for a replacement with an identical or comparable product/s, or issue a refund of the purchase price of the faulty/damaged product/s or repair the product/s. Returns will not be accepted if the damage to the product has subsequently been caused by an accident, or by neglect or misuse, by either yourself or a third party. Returns will not be accepted if the goods have been modified or tampered with in any way. Any refunds will not be processed until we receive the product/s in question from you.
